About Business Builders Alliance

Nurturing members’ business growth, building relationships for genuine referrals, and providing exceptional resources for our clients since 2015.

Business Builders Alliance

If you own or work for a business and would like to continue growing it, consider joining Business Builders Alliance (BBA). BBA is a networking organization with members dedicated to promoting business between members in a professional and friendly manner. With more than 35 different professions represented by BBA’s membership, we pass referrals for new business to each other that generate more than $1 million in revenue annually for our members.

Each member holds a specific business category, and one subcategory. Once the main category is filled, no other person may join the group in that category.

BBA meets every Wednesday morning at 7:15 a.m. through Zoom. We also hold one in-person meeting once a month at Plantation Preserve Golf Course & Club.

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

Where other groups’ meeting structures and member involvement are mandated by a larger organization, BBA’s membership committee create the organization’s operating guidelines, which are approved by the entire membership. Our president, vice president and treasurer are elected annually by the membership. Periodic town hall-style meetings help infuse new ideas that strengthen and grow the organization.

BBA was established in 2015 as an outgrowth of a previous networking group that was created in 2003. Many of our members were part of the original group and have continued to contribute by giving referrals, maintaining the organizational structure and participating in events that create bonds of trust and loyalty between our members.

While we follow a structure for meetings, attendance, networking and referrals, we are also innovative and flexible. We develop new themes and ideas to help our members grow personally and professionally.

We are also social. Members are the heart of BBA. We not only learn about each other’s businesses so that we can identify and pass on better referrals, but we also enjoy socializing with each other. We hold periodic social networking events; annual picnics and an annual holiday party where spouses, partners and prospective members are always welcome to participate.

WHAT TO EXPECT

BBA is comprised of warm and friendly people who believe that integrity and dedication to their clients are essential to providing quality services and work. This is reflected in the quality and information presented each week in our member presentations, as well as the way that we trust and care about each other.

Members begin networking at 7 a.m., and at 7:05 a.m., the president starts the meeting. Each week, a different member gives a 10-minute presentation about their business. Members also present one-minute commercials about their businesses and the type of customer or client they are seeking.

Toward the end of the meeting, members pass business referrals to each other, or offer a testimonial about how members’ services helped them or a referred customer. An average of 30 referrals are passed between members at each meeting. We also systematically keep track of the business generated between members.

Outside of the meeting, members also meet for 1-2-1 networking, usually over coffee or lunch. During these meetings, members can spend an hour or more talking to each other about their business and the specific types of referrals that they would like to receive.

WHO ARE OUR MEMBERS?

The membership is grouped by professional alliances – business services, financial services, health and wellness, real estate services and personal services. All of our members own or work for businesses – from solo practices to Fortune 500 companies – and understand the dedication and focus that it takes to be successful. Our members confidently refer business to each other because they trust and understand each other and their businesses.
